Bishop Edna L. Palmer, from Annapolis, Maryland, is the daughter of Elder Leroy Parker and First Lady Delores Parker. She is the eldest of seven children. She has three brothers and three sisters.
During her childhood years she attended Mt. Moriah and Mt. Olive A.M.E. churches. In December 1973, she accepted the Lord as her personal saviour at Holy Temple Cathedral also in Annapolis, MD. While at Holy Temple, she served in various capacities: Sunday School Teacher, Nurse, Missionary, Pastor's Aide, Women's Ministry President for twelve years, New Members' Teacher, Chairperson of the First Lady's Committee and Church Administrator.
In 1977, Bishop Palmer resided in Germany and answered the call to Ministry. She became a licensed Evangelist under the auspices of Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and Bishop Rufus Taylor, Jr. There she was appointed to the pastorate where she served for eighteen months.
She returned to Annapolis, Maryland in 1981, and was ordained an Evangelist under Bishop Wilbert L. Baltimore. The Lord blessed her to evangelize, preach deliverance and to facilitate workshops as well as retreats for women. During her membership at Holy Temple, she attended leadership classes at the School of Prophets. She was ordained an Elder on February 13, 1994. She was appointed and consecrated as National Evangelist of King's Apostle Churches World Ministries on August 8, 1998. Bishop Palmer was appointed Presiding Elder of the Fourth Episcopal Diocese of King's Apostle World Ministries, Incorporated in July 2001. During the 2005 Holy Convocation, she was elevated to Bishop Designate and later as Bishop Elect. At the 96th General Holy Convocation in Willington, DE on Friday, July 21, 2006 elevated to Bishop.
Bishop Palmer is an entrepeneur specializing in Millinery and Male/Female accessories. Her business, "From the Neck Up" has been an Integral part of her ministry to women. She currently is employed at Bowie State University as Telecommunications Service Manager.
Most importantly, Bishop Palmer loves the Lord with all her heart. She is saved, sanctified, spirit filled, enjoys sharing the Word of God and blessing the people of God. She whole-heartedly believes that the Lord orders her steps (Psalms 37:23). Bishop Palmer whole-heartedly believes in her church motto "A Church where Everybody is Somebody" and that "We are all Over-comers because Our Victory is in Jesus!"
